The Certified Investment Management Analyst designation, established by the Investment Management Consultant's Association (IMCA®), is awarded to those who complete a rigorous course of study through the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Fewer than 7,000 individuals hold it. CIMA® practitioners subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics and maintain the designation through continuing education. David Thomas is a member in good standing of IMCA and holds the CIMA® designation.

The American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, founded in 1966, is the premier national organization for career retirement plan professionals. Its Qualified Plan Financial Consultant designation is the professional credential for those who sell, advise, market, or support qualified retirement plans. Brandon Grandbouche holds the QPFC designation from ASPPA.

CFA Institute is the global association of investment professionals that sets the standard for professional excellence. The CFA Program requires three sequential exams, with successful candidates reporting an average of 300 hours of preparation per exam. Yu Huang is an active CFA® charterholder.

The Chartered Market Technician® designation is the preeminent credential for practitioners of technical analysis worldwide, grounded in behavioral economics and quantitative approaches to market research and rules-based trading system design. Earning it demonstrates mastery of investment risk in portfolio management.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Finance (MFIN) degrees require intensive study in accounting, economics, and finance. Yu Huang holds an MFIN from Tulane University; Derek Fossier holds an MBA from Tulane University.
